RIDAPAD PUBLISHING POLICY
Welcome to Ridapad, a platform dedicated to promoting literature and creativity.
This Publishing Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing the publication, distribution, and consumption of content on our platform.
By using Ridapad, you agree to adhere to this policy, our Terms of Service, and any other applicable guidelines.
To publish or access content on Ridapad, users must create an account. Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration, including a valid email address. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information and ensuring it is not shared with others.
1. Content Submission and Eligibility
Eligibility: You must have the legal capacity to enter into contracts in your jurisdiction to publish content on Ridapad.
Content Types: Ridapad allows users to publish, read, and sell books. Eligible content includes written works such as novels, short stories, poems, comics, drama, fiction and non-fiction.
2. Content Guidelines
Originality: Content published on Ridapad must be original and not violate any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights. Plagiarism or unauthorized use of third-party content is strictly prohibited.
Quality: We maintain the right to review and reject content that does not meet our quality standards. Content should be well-written, free from grammatical errors, and formatted appropriately.
Mature Content: Content containing explicit or mature themes must be appropriately labeled and restricted to users above the legal age in their jurisdiction.
3. Rights and Responsibilities
Ownership: Authors retain the copyright to their published content on Ridapad. By publishing on Ridapad, you grant Ridapad a license to host, display, and distribute your content on the platform.
Content Updates: Authors are responsible for keeping their content up-to-date and accurate. You can make revisions to your content as needed.
4. Intellectual Property
Copyright Infringement: Ridapad respects intellectual property rights. If you believe your copyright has been infringed upon, please refer to us and we would establish a solid investigation. Although, content on Ridapad is solely the property of the publisher or author as well as its implication(s).
5. User-Generated Content
Reviews and Comments: Users can leave reviews and comments on content. Please follow our community guidelines when posting comments and reviews.
6. Content Removal and Moderation
Content Removal: Ridapad reserves the right to remove content that violates this policy or our Terms of Service. We may also suspend or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly violate these policies.
Moderation: We have a content moderation system in place to ensure compliance with our policies. Moderation decisions are final.
7. Legal Compliance
Compliance with Laws: You are responsible for ensuring your content complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to copyright, privacy, and defamation laws.
8. Ridapad's Right to Monetize Content,br>
Ridapad reserves the right to determine whether a book is suitable for monetization on our app. We will assess the content for quality, adherence to guidelines, and its potential to provide value to our users. This assessment may include reviewing factors such as grammar, spelling, and overall writing quality. Not all submitted content may be eligible for monetization.
9. Pricing and Revenue Sharing
a. Book Pricing: Ridapad will determine the price at which a book can be sold on the app, taking into account factors such as genre, length, and market conditions. The author may provide input, but final pricing decisions rest with Ridapad.
b. Revenue Sharing: Authors will receive 70% of the revenue generated from the sale of their books on Ridapad. This specific revenue share percentage is the outline of our publishing agreement signed by all authors/publishers upon publishing on Ridapad. Ridapad retains 30% of the revenue as a platform fee, which covers hosting, distribution, and promotion.
10. Content Review and Removal
Ridapad may periodically review published content to ensure that it continues to meet our guidelines. We reserve the right to remove content that violates our policies or is found to be in breach of our terms of service. In cases of repeated violations, we may terminate the publishing privileges of the user.
11. Reporting Violations
If you come across content on Ridapad that you believe violates our publishing policy, please report it immediately using the reporting feature on the platform. We take reports seriously and will investigate each case thoroughly.
12. Changes to the Policy
